About the emblems and symbols of the Oikos
Thyrsos Hellenes Ethnikoi (Gentiles)
Julio Caro Baroja writes:
“When they try to convince us that Ares (Mars)
symbolizes War and Hercules symbolizes Power (bravery, strength), we can
deny it without further discussion. That may have once constituted a basic
truth for the orators, the idealist philosophers, or a company of pedant
Greeks. But for those who truly believed in these Deities and heroes of the
Antiquity, Mars constituted an objective reality even though that reality
was completely different from the one we try to reach today. Symbolism
appears when the Religions of Nature deteriorate.”
It is, therefore, an absolute necessity to ponder upon the words of the
Basque anthropologist while we mention the symbols our Oikos uses.
We hope that the reasons why we bear them, their usage and the reasons we
promote their use, transmission and acceptance, will be better understood by
our visitors after the following analysis and reports.
In our age, few people understand that the Parallel Course the Archetypal
Symbols follow, the need for their adoption or even the cause for creating
new ones, are emerging from dire needs.
Being recognized basically as commercial signs, political emblems or as any
other case of absolutely arbitrary interpretation and perspective demands,
has resulted into people losing an important and useful field of Thought and
Perception inside which Swift Energies can be realized or spurted, always
towards the Positive Aspect of life.
It is precisely that erroneous prospect and perception that gives birth to
the unpleasant as well as tragic facts which affect individual cases and
Social Groups through the passage of History.
The symbols that emerge from the people’s psyche have the tendency to charge
them as well as to be charged by them.
After this introduction it is easy for everyone to bring to mind various
examples that verify our words.
The aim of this register is to be a positive offering in the syllogistics
around the interpretation and the comprehension of Symbols, by following the
explanatory paths of our Ancestors.
It goes without saying that we do not hesitate to state and embrace our own
prospects, always based on our own Explanatory Ways, but trying not to
deviate from the Common Sense and Perception according to the Polytheistic
and Healthy perception of our Η
ellenic Ancestors,
and also the European Gentiles in general, who have interacted with our
Ancestors throughout the centuries, thus attributing even more masterfully
to the explanatory perception of the Common Symbols. Finally, this is the
way we clarify once and for all our perspective, so that each malicious
attack against us concerning these subjects will get its appropriate answer.
Of course, all good intentions are not only welcomed, but also desired.
The Energetic symbols the Oikos Thyrsos Hellenes Ethnikoi (Gentiles)
uses are the following:
* The Sun Disc (Sun Cross)
* The Triskelion
* The Thyrsus
* The Digamma (surrounded by Oak Leaves)
A lengthier epilogue
We believe that this project about the clarification of our Symbols-Emblems,
will help the good-willed Friends perceive not only the Force that derives
from them, but also the general existence of these live Forms that follow
humans in their course through History.
We may have walked on “thin ice” since the sick and the perverts are always
“lurking”, but we do not hide any true fear inside.
Some vulgar, continue today to tainting and "load" the hate they hide in
their soul, for political reasons. The totalitarianism have no place, but no
place in Hellenic Religion. The respect for life and diversity, humanism,
are the derivatives of Hellenic Religion. Never hate nor fanaticism.
We will repeat one more time that the symbols emerged from a Necessity, not
someone’s selfish policy that just emerged sometime in history.
Consequently, apart from their explanatory interpretation that exists
locally –as it should-, as Gentiles we have an obligation to defend their
Archetypal Substance. And this defense will take place not because they
themselves “are in danger”, but because their misuse means that we perceive
the wrong representations, hence falling into the opposite results from what
we initially had in mind.
Finally, as part of the reverence for our National Tradition (or our
National Traditions, if we want to put it on a wider scale) it is our
obligation to place them inside the appropriate frames, so as not to allow
any bigotry, no matter its chronological or ideological - dogmatic origin,
to have another opportunity to dishonor our Historical Memory and our
National Tradition.
We fight for Memory, for our Gods and our Nation!
Hail Immortal Gods, who live forever
